Strip Panoramic Cameras are usually stationary. The film is pulled past a slit where the exposure is made. The speed of the moving film must match exactly the speed of the moving image. The is an example of a peripheral panorama:
Strip panoramic cameras can also be used by moving the camera. The speed of the film moving must match the speed of the moving image.
